Keanu Reeves was the apparent victim of yet another break-in, this time by ski-mask wearing burglars. And the timeline of the burglary is especially eyebrow-raising.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Los Angeles police initially responded to an anonymous call about a possible trespasser on the actor’s property at around 7 p.m. on Wednesday. But when police arrived at the scene and conducted a search, they didn’t find anything suspicious.

However, around 1 a.m. an alarm was triggered, and “multiple men” in ski masks were seen on security cameras smashing a window and entering the home. The culprits allegedly made off with at least one firearm before fleeing the scene, though it’s unclear if anything else was taken. Detectives are examining security footage from the home as well as around the neighborhood for additional clues. Reeves was not home at the time of the break-in.

In particular, authorities are looking into who made the first call about a trespasser, and whether it was done by someone casing the house.

This isn’t even the first time the 59-year-old has had his home broken into. Twice in 2014, two women entered his home in seemingly unrelated incidents. In the first, Reeves encountered a woman he found in his library, and calmly called police. Then just days later, another woman broke in and used his shower and swam in his pool. Reeves was not home during the second incident, but his staff called the police. In both instance, the women were taken to a medical facility for psychiatric evaluation.
