“It’s a love story…”
Swifties who have tracked Taylor Swift’srelationship with Travis Kelce are likely aware the pop star’s early hit “Love Story” has become a theme of sorts for their romance.
The couple was filmed singing and dancing to a “Love Story” remix at a Super Bowl LVIII afterparty while celebrating the Chiefs’ win last month, and Kelce, 34, was spotted doing the same a couple of weeks later during a weekend with his teammates in Las Vegas.
But the 2008 song came long before Swift and Kelce began dating. Now, a source with inside knowledge about the couple says the “Shake It Off” songstress has penned some new material inspired by the relationship.

Swift, 34, has “written at least two songs” that “have to do with their love story and falling in love with” Kelce, the unnamed source told Us Weekly. The source described the new music as “very personal” and “very special.”
Swift has become known over the course of her career for writing songs inspired by her past relationships. However, the source cast doubt that fans will ever be hear these songs.
“She likely won’t share them with anyone,” they said.

Swift and Kelce took their relationship public last September as the “Cruel Summer” singer began attending NFL games to cheer on the Chiefs. She publicly attended 13 games during the 2023 NFL season, with the attention focused on her relationship increasing with each game as the Chiefs gained ground in the NFL playoffs and ultimately made it to the 2024 Super Bowl.
Following the couple’s public embrace on the field after the Chiefs won the big game for their second year in a row, Swift and Kelce reunited in Sydney, Australia, where Swift performed as part of her Eras Tour. Kelce thrilled Swifties by wearing an armful of friendship bracelets, a trend that has become popular at Eras Tour shows, and sang along to her music from his spot in the VIP tent.
