It looks like Taylor Swift has got herself another celebrity fan, with Jennifer Lopez declaring herself a “Swifty.”
In a tutorial to promote her JLo Beauty line, the 54-year-old shows fans how to apply the perfect red lip. Filmed in her bathroom, the pop culture icon outlines her mouth with a nude pencil, before adding a shade of red to the center of her lips.
“When I think of red lips, I think of Marilyn Monroe,” Lopez says in the video, while using a brush to gently fill in the edges of her lip look.
“But I also think of like, Gwen Stefani, I think of Taylor Swift,” she continues, before adding “I’m a Swifty too.”
Since being shared on Monday, the clip has received over 127,000 views on X—the social network formerly known as Twitter.
Lopez isn’t Swift’s only famous fan, with a number of celebrities expressing their love for the singer-songwriter. Fellow music icons Alicia Keys, Billy Joel and Keith Urban all attended her Eras tour, which began in March and ended in December.
Big Little Lies actress Reese Witherspoon gushed about the show on social media, calling it “a night to remember,” while Drew Barrymore, Nicky Hilton and Bethenny Frankel also took their families to Swift’s gigs.
It’s been an exciting year for the 33-year-old. Swift began dating Travis Kelce in July, with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end seemingly smitten with the pop star.
As well as being lucky in love, Swift’sEras tour broke several records, earning $1 billion in revenue and boosting the economy of every town she performed in.
It was impossible to escape Swift’s influence in 2023, with Time magazine naming the singer “Person of the Year”. In 2017 she was one of a group of women awarded the title under the collective name “The Silence Breakers,” making her the only woman to appear on the cover twice since the tradition began in 1927.
It’s also been a bumper year for Lopez. The actress and singer reunited with her ex-fiancé Ben Affleck in 2022, with the pair tying the knot last summer.
The pair still appear to be going strong in 2023, with Lopez showcasing a new tattoo dedicated to her husband in February. An infinity symbol with an arrow through the center, the design on her left rib includes the couple’s names.
Her JLo Beauty range—launched in 2021—is thriving, but the Latin Grammy winner is also releasing her ninth studio album in January. Titled “This Is Me… Now,” the album is a follow-up to her 2002 smash “This Is Me… Then,” which sold more than 300,000 copies in its first week alone.
