Some of the biggest names in music stepped on a stage in Dallas-Fort Worth this year, and two made the list of top 10 concerts with the most expensive tickets in the U.S. in 2023.

Last-minute mobile ticket seller, Gametime, compiled the top 10 most expensive concert tours in 2023 based on median ticket price. The list includes concerts from across the country, along with how much the median ticket price sold via Gametime.

Several performers on the list made stops in North Texas this year. Here’s what we know:

Who tops the list of most expensive concert tickets in 2023?

Tickets to Adele’s Las Vegas residency were the most expensive purchased via Gametime, with a median price of over $1,000.

The “Set Fire To The Rain” singer spent most of the year in Las Vegas, and will continue to do so in 2024. Here’s the rest of the list:

  1. Adele- $1,011 per ticket
  2. Taylor Swift- $958 per ticket*
  3. U2- $502 per ticket
  4. Drake- $473 per ticket*
  5. Usher- $406 per ticket
  6. Bruno Mars- $391 per ticket
  7. Harry Styles- $357.50 per ticket
  8. Morgan Wallen- $329 per ticket
  9. Suga- $309 ticket
  10. Garth brooks- $288 per ticket

*Stopped in Dallas-Fort Worth

Artists on the list of most expensive tickets to stop in North Texas

Of the 10 performers on Gametime’s list, two stopped by North Texas this year for shows.

In support of “The Era’s Tour,” Taylor Swift played three consecutive sold-out shows at AT&T Stadium from March 31-April 2. The three-hour 44-song concert impressed the nearly 70,000 in the audience the night the Star-Telegram attended. Our reviewer wrote: “Swift made every single customer/fan forget the Ticketmaster fiasco that rained all over this tour’s launch last year.”

Drake was the other performer to visit North Texas this year, in support of his “It’s All A Blur Tour.” The “God’s Plan” rapper played at American Airlines Center on Sept. 14 and 15.

Elsewhere on the list, Garth Brooks performed at AT&T Stadium last year, while Morgan Wallen has a show scheduled there for next summer.
