North Metro Elite – AAU Basketball

North Metro Elite (“NME”) is a Boys and Girls Travel Basketball Program located in Dallas, GA, and servicing kids in the Cobb, Bartow, Paulding and Cherokee County region.  NME has on average between 10 and 12 teams from ages 3rd through 11th grade in any given year, which is approximately 130+ families each season that participate.  Our teams have been playing in the area since 2010.

The mission of NME is to provide an educational and leadership program using the sport of basketball to help mentor and train young men and women in our community.  Over 50% of the participants on NME teams each year come from challenged family backgrounds, and our program helps foster good will, teamwork, hard work, loyalty, dedication, character, and personal responsibility in the lives of our kids.

Any financial contribution to NME is characterized in one of two ways:  charitable gift or corporate sponsorship.  For charitable gifts, NME is not a 501(c)(3) entity, but will enjoy the charitable umbrella of our membership in the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) during the basketball season.  As a corporate sponsor, donors receive advertising at our tournaments, as well as marketing and other benefits from our websites and mailing lists, which monthly reach over 700-1000 unique visitors.

NME has been one of the most successful basketball programs in the greater Atlanta area for some time, and current and former NME players make up the rosters of a dozen high schools in our community.  NME teams have played in Nike events, major cities such as Chicago, Lexington, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, and Orlando, FL, and are recognized throughout the national travel basketball scene.  But most importantly, our young men and women will exhibit character, class, values and ethics when representing themselves on the hardwood, in contrast with many youth sports participants today.

Thank you for your consideration of NORTH METRO ELITE!
