Michael B. Jordan under investigation after new video shows actor racing Ferrari before violent crash

Police are looking to further examine a serious car crash that occurred earlier this month on Hollywood’s Sunset Boulevard involving actor Michael B. Jordan’s blue Ferrari 812 Superfast.

Video appears to show the “Creed” star’s sports car racing a red Ferrari before smashing into a parked Kia around 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 2, according to TMZ. Jordan’s car and the one it appeared to hit were both badly damaged. There were no reports of injuries.

Authorities now want to establish who was behind the wheel and exactly what led to the crash. Multiple reports indicate that Jordan was driving, however that was not immediately confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department.

There’s no indication the “Black Panther” actor, 36, was impaired at the time of the accident – though police reportedly did not perform a field sobriety test. Per TMZ, Jordan was said to have offered little explanation when asked by police what happened.

An Instagram user who posted a video of the Ferraris driving side-by-side, and the ensuing crash, wrote that Jordan ” did not have wheel.”

Jordan’s representatives have not returned a request for comment.
