When dropping off my vehicle (2013 Nissan Quest) information was provided to the manager a Step Motor code was given when the check engine light came on. The manager advised the transmission will need to be removed, taken apart, and diagnosed. I agreed to pay the additional charge as I was told it was necessary to find out what was wrong with the vehicle. Also, I was provided the turn around time of 1 day for this to be completed. When asked if a new transmission would be needed, I was told that shouldn’t be necessary as the van was still running with minor issues.
I did not hear anything back in one day and I had to go to the shop to get a status as no phone call was made to me and no one was answering the phone when I called. When arriving at the shop, I was told it had not been diagnosed and it would be completed on that day before end of business. Again, there was no communication on my status that day or the next.
